Proving that it is a company `with a heart´, Kuwait Petroleum organises various activities every year in support of the Red Cross. These include various activities among our employees – sponsored runs, Christmas markets and blood donations, and Kuwait Petroleum encourages these initiatives by adding to all the donations.

- ISO 14001 developed by the International Organization for Standardization, establishing the requirements for an Environmental Management System.
- OHSAS 18001 developed by the British Standards Institution, it refers to a list of specifications concerning occupational health and safety.
- RC 14001 developed by the American Chemistry Council, is a combination of the standard ISO 14001 and the principles of Responsible Care (RC).
